Corey Farrenkopf is a Cape Cod based writer. His work has appeared in Gravel, Hawaii Pacific Review, 45th parallel, Literary Orphans Journal, Wraparound South, Sleet Magazine, The Santa Ana River Review, and the Avalon Literary Review. He has been awarded the Gypsy Sachet Award in Biography from Fiction Fix. He is represented by Marie Lamba at the Jennifer DeChiara Literary Agency out of New York City. He currently resides in Harwich, Massachusetts and works as an adult services librarian and landscaper. Most of his writing is done in a small attic space with a single skylight and walls covered in glossy comic book paraphernalia. He received his BA in English/Creative Writing from UMASS Amherst and his M.Ed in Secondary Education from the same school. He teaches creative writing classes with his partner, Gabrielle Griffis, at local libraries and community centers around Cape Cod.

Over the years, he has worked some eccentric, dirty, and unusual jobs that have influenced his work in some way or another. Here are a few of the highlights: cemetery groundskeeper at historic cemeteries, beach bathroom janitor, creative K-12 teacher at a behavioral health hospital, roofer, carpenter, and souvenir t-shirt sales associate.
